Estrella Galicia (lata)
Estrella Galicia is an iconic Spanish Pale Lager with a smooth and refreshing taste. It is brewed with water from A Coruña, Pilsen and toasted malts and Nugget and Perle Hallertau hops for bitterness. The brewing process takes twenty days to obtain its characteristic aromatic profile and flavour. The result is a rich and balanced beer, with a light profile and an intense hoppy flavour.
Hijos de Rivera
The origin of Estrella Galicia dates back to 1906, when José María Rivera Corral, a Galician who emigrated to Cuba and Mexico, founded La Estrella de Galicia. In 1910, the company started brewing beer in A Coruña. Ramón Rivera, one of the first master brewers in Spain, joined the business in 1921. The brewery improved its facilities and production was increased. In addition, La Estrella de Galicia launched four new beer varieties: Pilsen, Munich, Bock and Double Bock.
In 1971, the brand changed its name to Estrella Galicia, and the slogan "brewed by sons of Rivera" was born. Over the decades the brand has enjoyed an unstoppable expansion. Nowadays, its beers are sold in more than thirty countries around the world.
