Schneider Weisse Tap 5 Meine Hopfeneisse
Meine Hopfenweisse is a genuine bottle fermented German wheat beer Weizenbock style. It is made from Hallertauer Tradition and Hallertauer Saphir hops and local wheat and barley. This Weizenbock was born in 2008 from the collaboration between breweries G. Schneider & Sohn and Brooklyn. They brewed essentially the same pale, hoppy weissbock in the other's brewery, but with different hopping to reflect the local hop flavor. G. Schneider & Sohn is a brewery founded in 1872 by George Schneider I and his son George Schneider II, when they acquired Weisses Brauhaus, one of the oldest breweries in Munich. Nowdays, they sell their products in more than 27 countries.
Tasting notes
Cloudy amber colour with orange streaks and creamy white foam. Aromas of citrus, pineapple, spices and bananas. Citrus notes on the mouth with sweet malty hints of caramel. Medium-bodied and well-carbonated. 8,2% ABV.
