Barbadillo Blanco de Blancos
White wine made in Cádiz, by the shore of the Guadalquivir river, with a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Verdejo and Moscato grapes. This wine belongs to the white wine range of Bodegas Barbadillo. This winery was founded in 1821, and since then, it has been making wines of the finest quality. In 2015, it was granted the "Mejor Bodega del Año" award (best winery of the year) by Guía Peñin.
How it is made
Barbadillo Blanco de Blancos is made by coupage of Sauvignon Blanc, Verdejo and Moscato wines. The must from each variety is processed separately and only the finest are used in the final blend. Aging takes place for a period that ranges between 6 to 8 weeks.
Tasting notes
Clean and bright golden colour. Intense aromas with hints of fruits, such as passion fruit and pineapple. On the mouth it is smooth, fresh and very well balanced. Persistent aftertaste. Perfect with roasted or stewed fish, and cheese. Best served at a temperature between 8º - 10º C.
