Portia Prima La Encina

Portia Prima La Encina is a silky and well-balanced red wine with Denominación de Origen Ribera del Duero, made from 100% Tempranillo grapes, grown in plots of land located in Pago de La Encina. Grapes are carefully selected and fermented at a controlled temperature of 28º C. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in French oak new barrels. It is left to age for 15 months in French oak barrels. Bodegas Portia owns 160 hectares in the area of Roa, Gumiel de Izán, Villanueva and Gumiel del Mercado, at the heart of Ribera del Duero. The winery is designed by the prestigious British architect Norman Foster. Nowadays, it is part of Grupo Faustino.

Cherry red colour with ruby highlights. Complex and intense aromas of ripe fruit with notes of oak. Tasty, structured and well-balanced on the mouth with a long and persistent finish. 14,5% ABV.
