Chinchilla Seis + Seis
Red wine with Denominación de Origen Málaga made in Ronda from Tempranillo (60%) and Syrah (40%) grapes. Bodegas Doña Felisa, founded in 1999, is located in an area called “Chinchilla”, formerly known as “Tierra de Vino” - or land of wine - during Roman times, as this is where wine was produced and exported to all of the Roman Empire.
How it is made
Tempranillo and Syrah grapes are selected, handpicked and left to macerate at 14ºC for 24 hours. A second maceration takes place in stainless-steel vats for 3 to 4 days. Malolactic fermentation in carried out at a controlled temperature with selected yeasts. The wine ages in French oak casks for 9 months.
Tasting notes
Bright and clean cherry-red colour. Aromas of blueberry, woodland fruits with hints of spices, liquorice and oak. On the palate it is intense and balanced, with a pleasant entry and a long and elegant finish. Perfect with fish, grilled meat and pasta. Best served at a temperature of 16º - 17º C.
