Chinchilla Doble Doce
Red wine from Ronda with Denominación de Origen Sierras de Málaga, made with Cabernet Sauvignon (85%) and Merlot (15%) grapes from vineyards in Chinchilla, Ronda, Málaga. This region is known since Roman times as “Tierra de Vino”, or the land of wine, as it lies close to the ancient Roman city of Acinipo, where fine wines were created to be exported to the whole Roman Empire. It is produced by Bodegas Doña Felisa.
How it is made
Grapes and handpicked and carefully selected to ensure the highest quality. Then they are left to macerate at 14ºC for 24 hours. Finally the wine is left to ferment in stainless steel tanks, with selected yeasts, at a controlled temperature. Aging takes place in French oak casks for 12 to 14 months.
Tasting notes
Bright ruby colour. Intense on the nose with aromas of ripe dark fruits and notes of cedar, spices of French oak. Smooth and balanced on the mouth with hints of dark fruits. Perfect with red meat, game and grills.
